  • Sleeping Beauties in Science: Key characteristics, early identification clues and science policy implications

    Abstract: The study on systematic identification of “Sleeping Beauty” (SB) publications and on their awaking mechanisms will promote the strategic preservation of documents in libraries, and provide implications for identifying potential “ahead of time” discoveries or transformative research, and shortening time lag for original research to get recognized. Based on the data analysis and case studies, this paper figured out some key characteristics of SB publications. The content of SB papers tends to be multi-discipline research and most of which tend to be published in prestigious multidisciplinary journals with higher impact and wider scope. One is perhaps more inclined to believe that SB relate to more fundamental and basic, and less to application-oriented work. But a surprising finding is that half of the SBs are application oriented and significantly more cited in patents than ‘normal’ papers, which demonstrated the potential technical and application-research properties of SB. The key publications and pioneering works of the recent Nobel Prize winners for physiology and medicine are delayed-cited rather early-cited in the entire citation life-time of an article. We further suggested several clues for early identifying SB. First, Transformative research tend to be neglected or resisted by the scientific community initially and this neglect or resistance could be regarded as the key clue for the early prediction of SB literature. Publications belonging to so-called transformative research, even when less frequently cited than others, should be given special attention as early as possible, because they may suddenly attract many citations after a period of sleep. One could identify transformative research through some text terms (such as "disagree", "overcome", "break", "dispute"...). In order to discern such potential transformative research, we could observe whether the relevant documents get early citation from patents or not, because many SB documents tend to be technical research in nature and application-oriented. Second, the Bcp index proposed in our foregoing paper is more sensitive in identifying the “lower level SBs”, which refers to the case when the total citations and the maximum annual citations of SBs are not so high in comparison with other typical SBs. This index may be used to identify the papers at the sleeping-awakening interface, which provided new tools for arousing attention of the science community to previously overlooked but important research. We also pondered some policy implications about the associations of SB publications with transformative research, research front and research evaluation.

    Abstract:本文采用科学计量学方法,以科技论文和资助项目为主要资料,对2011年以来国际上发表的科技政策研究论文、以及美国SciSIP计划、日本SciREX计划和中国国家自然科学基金委员会管理科学部“科技管理与政策”相关的规划布局和资助项目进行定量和定性综合分析,揭示国际和我国科技政策学的研究态势。美国科技政策“学”强调“科学基础”,主要侧重于服务政府部门的科技政策制定和政策过程的科学化;日本则倾向“学科建设”,包括国家重要政策议题的专题研究(任务导向研究),针对科技政策学术共同体的课题资助(自由申请研究),机构设置与人才培养,以及数据基础设施建设。发展我国的科技政策学,建议同时借鉴日本学科建设的思路以及美国协调各政府部门政策过程的思路;建议加强社会科学与自然科学的跨学科融合研究,考虑设置“科技政策研究”专项资助渠道与多元资助机制;建议将数据基础设施建设作为一项基础性、战略性任务;建议建立政策研究界和决策者之间的建制性交流研讨机制等。

  • 一个用于识别睡美人文献的新的无参数指标 ——基于Science和Nature杂志上睡美人文献的验证

    Abstract:[目的/意义] 通过优化提出一个可精准识别睡美人文献的简易无参数指标。[方法/过程] 借鉴睡美人指数(B指数)基本框架,通过将考察对象“年度被引次数”优化为“年度被引次数累积百分比”,提出Bcp指数,重新定义唤醒时间、睡眠深度和唤醒强度。并通过识别Science和Nature上的睡美人文献进行检验。[结果/结论] Bcp指数继承了B指数对那些非常显著的睡美人文献高度敏感的优点。Bcp指数框架下计算出的唤醒时间更符合实际情况,而B指数框架下的唤醒时间易被延迟估计。Bcp指数考虑了观察期内论文全部的引文曲线,规避了B指数无法反映年度被引次数达到最大值以后的引文曲线的缺点。Bcp指数对论文发表之初被引次数的约束效力显著高于B指数,更符合睡美人文献早期零被引和低被引的特征。Bcp指数对年龄大、总被引次数和年度被引次数相对较低的睡美人文献更敏感,有利于挖掘平常易被忽视的非高被引文献中睡美人文献的存在规律。Bcp指数规避了人为参数主观界定的不足,以及不同学科领域论文被引规模差异对睡美人文献统一定义的干扰。

  • The Generation of Trajectory Early Warning Information with Elevation Database

    Abstract: This paper proposes a new method of deriving the launch and landing locations based on the orbital motion characteristics of the missiles and elevation database. In this method, the DEM support is introduced to change the assumption of the earth from the reference ellipsoid to a more real shape. The method to improve the prediction accuracy of the position and time of the launch and landing points is discussed. The results with DEM (Digital Elevation Model) indicate the accuracy can be improved by adding a few elevation iterations on the original method. The higher the elevation of the starting and landing points, the better the result would be.

  • 注视线索对消费者的影响机制

    Abstract: The gaze cues of the eyes of others in the environment is an important social information that can guide the individual's attention and further affect the individual's cognitive processing and memory of the object being looked at. More importantly, gaze clues can also give some new characteristics to the object being looked at, which affects the individual's judgment and attitude towards the value of the object. The gaze cue effect and the gaze liking effect respectively reflect how the gaze cues affect the individual's cognition and attitude, and further draw on the views of the theory of mind and the shared signal theory to explain the impact of the gaze cues on the consumer's cognition and attitude. Among them, the influence of gaze cues on consumer cognition is mainly reflected in three aspects: (1) Guide consumers to pay attention. Gaze cues, as an indicative clue, can effectively guide consumers' attention. When consumers see the gaze direction of others, they tend to follow the gaze of others and look in the same direction or things. (2) Affect the depth of information processing by consumers. The study found that the gaze direction affects consumers' attention to the brand and text information in the advertisement. When the model in the advertisement is looking towards the product, consumers will look at the brand and text information in the advertisement for a longer time. The length of the gaze reflects the depth of the participants’ processing of the advertisement information, the gaze cues affect the depth of consumer information processing. (3) Affect consumers' memory of advertisements and other information. When the model in the advertisement is facing the product, it will enhance the consumer's memory effect of the brand and advertisement content, and the participants scored higher on the implicit test. The influence of gaze cues on consumer attitudes is mainly reflected in three aspects: (1) influence consumers' evaluation of products/advertising (2) influence consumers' willingness to buy. Regarding how different gaze cues affect consumers' product evaluation or purchase intention, the current research conclusions are not uniform, and there should be more research to further explore possible moderating variables in the future. (3) Affect consumers' evaluation or perception of spokespersons/service personnel. When the front desk staff look directly at the customers, the customers have a better impression of the front desk staff, believing that they are more friendly, warmer, and more trustworthy, and therefore have a better evaluation of the service quality. Future research can start from the following aspects: (1) Starting from product-related factors, investigate the moderating effect of product types on the effect of gaze cues. (2) From the consumer's point of view, examine whether different gaze cues will further affect consumers' attitudes or impressions towards models/spokespersons, and even their attitudes towards products when consumers feel different levels of loneliness? (3) From the perspective of consumption scenarios, explore how gaze cues affect consumer perceptions and attitudes in a crowded shopping environment? (4) From the perspective of the initiator of the gaze cues, can the gaze cues of the anthropomorphic image have the same effect as the human gaze cues? What impact will the anthropomorphic gaze cues have on consumers?

  • Identifying Feature Words Based on Abstracts and Citation Text Corpus of Breakthrough Research

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Based on the author's descriptive evaluation of his research and the critical citations of later researchers, the abstract and citation corpus of the breakthrough research are used to extract the feature words. Feature words can be used to understand the abstract and citation corpus features of the breakthrough research and contribute to the identification of breakthrough research. [Method/process] Key documents selected by Science as "Breakthrough of the Year" and "key publications" of Nobel Prize winners were selected as breakthrough research corpus data. Feature words were extracted by integrating abstracts and citation corpus of the paper. In the feature word extraction, the Stanford CoreNlp tool was used to perform word frequency statistics on the corpus, and the feature words were filtered in combination with expert opinions. Then we used the semantic relationship of medical texts to semantically expand feature words, which were used as the seed words. Finally, the retrieval and recognition effects of the abstract and citation feature words were further compared by the recall rate and the precision rate. [Result/conclusion] In the breakthrough research corpus, we selected 8 feature tokens of abstract corpora and 8 feature tokens of citation corpora. In the retrieval and recognition of feature words, the recall rate of the extended feature words of abstracts and citations is the highest, the precision of citation feature words is the highest. The comprehensive effect of the recall rate and precision of citation expansion feature words are better.

  • 样品预处理方法对海岸典型沙生植物非结构性碳水化合物含量测定的影响

    Abstract: Quantification of non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) contents of plants is of great significance to the exploration of its growth and adaptive strategies. However, various pretreating methods often lead to the poor comparability among different results. In this paper, four typical psammophytes on the coast of South China including Casuarina equisetifolia, Spinifex littoreus, Ipomoea pes-caprae and Sesuvium portulacastrum were studied, and the effects of pretreating methods on the determination of non-structural carbohydrates contents of plants by phenol-concentrated sulfuric acid method were analyzed, including the existence of the peel and mesh size. The results showed that: (1) When peeled, NSC, soluble sugar and starch contents of the Casuarina equisetifolia samples all had a decreasing trend compared with the control group, especially significant in the soluble sugar contents of the young-aged forest and the middle-aged forest(P<0.05),butmade nodifference in both theirstarch contentsand all componentcontentsin adult ones. The smaller the age of samples, the greater the effect of peeling pretreatment on NSC andits componentcontentsin trees,especially affectedonsoluble sugar,so we suggestto preserve tree bark when samples processed. (2) The contents of NSC and its components of different psammophytes’s branches (stem) all raised with the increase of mesh size, and there were significant differences between the Casuarina equisetifolia and Spinifex littoreus’branches (stem) samples which passed through the 100 and 18 mesh sieve (P<0.05). Except the Spinifex littoreus, all psammophytes’ leaves (assimilating branches) samples hadn’t changed much under different mush sizes and had no significant difference. The higher the content of mechanical tissue in the samples, the more significant difference in the content of NSC and its components extracted by different mesh size, considering the difficulty in obtaining samples and the accuracy of the determination of NSC content, thus we suggest that all branches and leaves of psammophytes should be processed by 100 mesh sieve. The conclusion of this study can guide the sample processing methods of related research in South China Coast, standardize experimental methods andimprove thecomparabilitybetweendifferentstudies.

  • Introduction to Orbit Determination Software SPODFMD for Multi-source Data Fusing of Space Debris

    Abstract: The data-fusion orbit determination software SPODFMD (Space debris Precise Orbit Determination fusing Multi-source Data) is developed with the purpose of cataloging space debris, characterized by integrating pure numerical integrators and given birth in the lab of SPOD (Satellite Precise Orbit Determination) at PMO (Purple Mountain Observatory). At the initial stage of the birth, developers fully investigated national space debris monitoring equipment, fully understood the orbit and physical complexity of numerous space debris, fully recognized the requirement for high efficiency when renewing orbits for lots of debris, and fully considered the robustness requirement in engineering. In addition, SPODFMD integrates several algorithms with indigenous intellectual property rights, including a rapid and non-singular algorithm for computing the Earth's gravitational potential and its derivatives, analytical and non-singular expressions for the DTM94 thermosphere model and its derivatives, an accurate and efficient method for calculating dense ephemeris of high-eccentricity orbit, and a robust adaptive weighting method. Integrating these advanced algorithms by applying software engineering theory, SPODFMD can freely fuse observation data from 14 kinds of equipment, achieving a second-level computation efficiency in a majority of typical orbit determination cases. Moreover, the software shows similar performance for GEO (Geosynchronous Equatorial Orbit), MEO (Medium Earth Orbit), LEO (Low Earth Orbit), and HEO (Highly Elliptical Orbit) objects without computation and pole singularity. It is tested and proved to be multi-source, efficient, general, and robust.

  • β-葡聚糖对生长育肥猪生长性能、胴体性能和肉品质的影响

    Abstract:本试验通过研究β-葡聚糖对生长育肥猪生长性能、胴体性能和肉品质的影响,旨在探明β-葡聚糖在生长育肥猪饲粮中的应用效果及适宜添加量。试验采用单因子试验设计,选取96头20 kg左右的健康“杜×长×大”猪,按体重和性别比例随机分为4个组,每组6个重复,每个重复4头猪。对照组饲喂基础饲粮,试验组在基础饲粮中分别添加50、100和200 mg/kg β-葡聚糖。试验期为103 d。结果表明:1)与对照组相比,饲粮添加100 mg/kg β-葡聚糖显著提高生长育肥猪平均日增重(P<0.05),显著降低料重比(P<0.05),显著改善饲粮干物质、能量和粗蛋白质消化率(P<0.05);2)与对照组相比,饲粮添加100 mg/kg β-葡聚糖显著提高猪只胴体长和肌肉pH(P<0.05),显著降低肌肉滴水损失(P<0.05),显著改善肉色(P<0.05),同时显著提高肌肉中肌苷酸含量(P<0.05),改变猪肉中饱和脂肪酸和单不饱和脂肪酸的组成比例,从而改善肉的风味。综上,饲粮中添加100 mg/kg β-葡聚糖可改善生长育肥猪的生长性能,提高养分消化率,提高胴体长,改善猪肉品质。

  • 平潭岛海岸三种典型沙生植物非结构性碳水化合物含量特征研究

    Abstract:非结构性碳水化合物(NSC)作为光合作用的主要产物,其含量多少可反映植物整体的碳收支平衡关系及对外界环境胁迫的适应策略。该文采用改进的苯酚-浓硫酸法对福建省平潭岛海岸处于生长旺盛期的3种典型沙生植物木麻黄、单叶蔓荆和老鼠艻茎叶的NSC及其组分含量进行测定,结果表明:(1)单叶蔓荆叶片、茎干可溶性糖含量均最大,分别为137.83±3.75 mg•g-1 和90.74±2.65 mg•g-1,老鼠艻叶片、茎干淀粉含量均最大,分别为105.41±2.49 mg•g-1和120.48±7.67 mg•g-1,二者茎叶NSC含量均大于木麻黄,且全部达到显著水平(P<0.05)。(2)沙堆表面老鼠艻叶片NSC及组分含量从雏形、发育到稳定阶段变化不明显,但茎干NSC及组分含量在雏形阶段沙堆表面显著大于其它两个演替阶段(P<0.05),且依次呈下降趋势。(3)从幼龄林、中龄林到成龄林阶段,木麻黄NSC含量呈现为先上升后下降趋势,其中成龄林叶片可溶性糖、淀粉和NSC含量、茎干可溶性糖和NSC含量均显著低于其它两个生长阶段(P<0.05)。(4)不同沙生植物对环境胁迫的适应策略各异,海岸沙丘表面植被恢复应充分考虑物种特性及其更新。

  • 基于双向LSTM和GBDT的中医文本关系抽取模型

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the use of Softmax as a long-short-term memory network classifier leads to the lack of generalization ability of the entity relationship recognition model, it is not suitable for the extraction of TCM entity relationships. This paper proposed a bidirectional long short-term memory (BILSTM) relational identification algorithm (BILSTM-GBDT) that incorporates a gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) . Firstly, The Chinese medicine text vector is trained by word2vec, then the high-order features are extracted by the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory network based on the attention mechanism. Finally, the integrated classification model gradient lifting tree is used as the feature classifier to improve the relationship recognition effect. Experimental results on multiple relational corpora such as Chinese medicine show that the model has higher accuracy, recall and F value than traditional SVM method, GBDT method and deep learning method.

  • 融合降噪自编码器与BPSO的特征组合方法及其中医应用

    Abstract: The discrete binary particle swarm optimization algorithm has many advantages in various discrete optimization problems, but it is very easy to fall into the local optimal solution due to the nonlinear problem, and the best feature subset cannot be obtained. The noise reduction self-encoder can be mapped and reconstructed through a multi-layer nonlinear network, which has a good effect on Chinese medicine data. This paper proposes a feature combination method of fusion noise reduction self-encoder and BPSO. This method mainly uses noise reduction self-encoder to perform nonlinear mapping of features to form super-complete basis, and then searches in super-complete basis through BPSO. To get the best feature subset. The clinical diabetes datasets and UCI datasets were used for analysis and processing. The experimental results showed that the combination of fused-noise self-encoder and BPSO features a good adaptability to clinical experimental data of TCM.

  • 基于特征相关的偏最小二乘特征选择方法

    Abstract: The traditional partial least squares method only considers the importance of single features and it exists the redundancy and multicollinearity among the features. The statistical correlation between features is involved into the traditional partial least squares analysis, and constructed the model of PLS feature selection based on feature correlation. Firstly, the feature group is pre-selected by using of the feature relevance, and then put into the partial least squares model for training to assess whether the feature group is desirable. Combining with the greedy search strategy, the candidate features are evaluated one by one, and the candidate features with the smallest objective function are added to the selected features. Respectively, using the data of the maxingshigan decoction of the monarch drug to treat the asthma or cough and UCI data sets to analyze . The experimental results show that the feature selection method can find an optimal feature group.

  • 模板引导下经会阴前列腺穿刺活检5379例回顾性分析

    Abstract:探讨模板引导下经会阴前列腺穿刺活检的准确性和安全性。 方法 回顾性分析我中心2004年11月至2018年1月共5379例前列腺穿刺活检患者临床资料。年龄14~89岁,平均68.1岁;血清tPSA 0.03~5000.00ng/ml,平均11.2ng/ml。所有患者均接受经直肠超声引导下经会阴模板定位下前列腺11区穿刺活检术,分析前列腺穿刺活检阳性率及并发症。 结果 每例每区活检1~4针,共11~44针,平均19针。前列腺癌总体活检阳性率39.9%,tPSA 0~4.0、4.1~10.0、10.1~20.0、20.1~100及>100ng/ml前列腺癌活检阳性率分别为16.6%(46/277)、25.2%(525/2057)、34.1%(573/1680)、65.9%(673/1022)及95.3%(327/343)。术后血尿42.1%,急性尿潴留2.2%,感染性休克1例,无死亡病例。 结论 经直肠超声引导下经会阴模板定位下前列腺穿刺活检准确且安全。
