摘要: Infrared excess is an important probe of sub-stellar companions and/or debris disks around white dwarfs (WDs). Such systems are still rare for in-depth understanding of their formation and long-term evolution. One of the largest spectroscopic surveys carried out by the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) recently released more than $3000$ WDs, a significant fraction of which have not undergone excess search. Here we present cross-correlation of LAMOST DR5 WD catalog with the Pan-STARRS, SDSS, UKIDSS, 2MASS, and {\it WISE}. By performing SED (spectral energy distribution) fitting for 846 WDs with $WISE$ detections, we identify 50 candidates with infrared excess, including 7 candidate WD+M dwarf binaries, 31 candidate WD+brown dwarf (BD) binaries and 12 candidate WD+dust disk systems. 8 of the dust disk systems are our new identifications. Utilizing a systematic survey with accurate stellar parameters derived from spectral fitting, our work is an important addition to previous searches for infrared excess from SDSS and {\it Gaia} WDs, and provides a significant ($\gtrsim8\%$) complement to current database of WDs with candidate BD companions and dust disks. The frequencies of WD+BD binaries and WD+dust disk systems are constrained to be $\lesssim3.7\%$ and $\sim1.4\%$, respectively. The properties of candidate dust disk systems are discussed. All of our candidates require follow-up observations for confirmation owing to limited spatial resolution of {\it WISE}.

摘要: We present the discovery of 24 pulsars in 15 Globular Clusters (GCs) using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST). These include the first pulsar discoveries in M2, M10, and M14. Most of the new systems are either confirmed or likely members of binary systems. M53C, NGC6517H and I are the only three pulsars confirmed to be isolated. M14A is a black widow pulsar with an orbital period of 5.5 hours and a minimum companion mass of 0.016 \Ms. M14E is an eclipsing binary pulsar with an orbital period of 20.3 hours. With the other 8 discoveries that have been reported elsewhere, in total 32 GC pulsars have been discovered by FAST so far. In addition, We detected M3A twice. This was enough to determine that it is a black widow pulsar with an orbital period of 3.3 hours and a minimum companion mass of 0.0125 \Ms.

摘要: Magneto-optical effect has been widely used in light modulation, optical sensing and information storage. Recently discovered two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals layered magnets are considered as promising platforms for investigating novel magneto-optical phenomena and devices, due to the long-range magnetic ordering down to atomically-thin thickness, rich species and tunable properties. However, majority 2D antiferromagnets suffer from low luminescence efficiency which hinders their magneto-optical investigations and applications. Here, we uncover strong light-magnetic ordering interactions in 2D antiferromagnetic MnPS3 utilizing a newly-emerged near-infrared photoluminescence (PL) mode far below its intrinsic bandgap. This ingap PL mode shows strong correlation with the Neel ordering and persists down to monolayer thickness. Combining the DFT, STEM and XPS, we illustrate the origin of the PL mode and its correlation with Neel ordering, which can be attributed to the oxygen ion-mediated states. Moreover, the PL strength can be further tuned and enhanced using ultraviolet-ozone treatment. Our studies offer an effective approach to investigate light-magnetic ordering interactions in 2D antiferromagnetic semiconductors.

摘要: In order to overcome the accommodation and convergence (A-C) conflict that commonly causes visual fatigue in AR display, we propose a Maxwellian-viewing-super-multi-view (MV-SMV) near-eye display system based on a Pancharatnam-Berry optical element (PBOE). The PBOE, which is constituted with an array of high-efficiency polarization gratings, is implemented to direct different views to different directions simultaneously, constructing the 3D light field. Meanwhile, each view is like a Maxwellian view display that possesses a small viewpoint and a large depth of field (DOF). Hence, the MV-SMV display can display virtual images with correct accommodation depth cue within a large DOF. We implement a proof-of-concept MV-SMV display prototype with 3 x 1 and 3 x 2 viewpoints using a 1D PBOE and a 2D PBOE, respectively, and achieve a DOF of 4.37 diopters experimentally.

摘要: Purpose The color matching of the key-intensive areas of the control panel of the CNC machine tool still lacks a considerable design, so we are looking for a color matching design scheme that can quickly distinguish the keys to improve work efficiency. Method A case study is carried out on the CNC panels of different types of CNC machine tools, the eye movement experiment is used to test the identification effect of contrasting colors in the button-intensive area, and the user's perception effect on color matching is obtained by combining the interview method. Results The red and blue contrast color matching enhances the visual appeal, reduces the time for users to find the target key, improves work efficiency, reduces the error rate, reduces the mechanical indifference of the key area, and makes the product full of vitality and warmth. Conclusions The use of contrasting colors in the key-intensive area of the CNC panel can promote the efficiency of people to distinguish and find the target keys, and so on. The application of other contrasting color schemes in the key area of the CNC panel can create a design with obvious local features of the product, and finally realize the psychological Improve the user experience in all aspects, such as emotional and emotional aspects.

摘要: Germline polymorphisms have been linked with differential survival outcomes in cancers but have not been well studied in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Here, two-phase association study is conducted to discover germline polymorphisms that are associated with the prognosis of NPC. The discovery phase includes two consecutive hospital cohorts of patients with NPC from Southern China. Exome-wide genotypes at 246,173 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are determined, followed by survival analysis for each SNP under Cox proportional hazards regression model. Candidate SNP is replicated in another two independent cohorts from Southern China and Singapore. Meta-analysis of all samples (n = 5,553) confirm that the presence of rs1131636-T, located in the 3′-UTR of RPA1, confers an inferior overall survival (HR = 1.33, 95% CI = 1.20-1.47, P = 6.31 × 10-8). Bioinformatics and biological assays show that rs1131636 has regulatory effects on upstream RPA1. Functional studies further demonstrate that RPA1 promoted the growth, invasion, migration, and radioresistance of NPC cells. Additionally, miR-1253 has been identified as a suppressor for RPA1 expression, likely through regulation of its binding affinity to rs1131636 locus. Collectively, these findings provide a promising biomarker aiding in stratifying patients with poor survival, as well as a potential drug target for NPC.
