  • Adapting the Depression Component of WHO Mental Health Gap Intervention Guide(mhGAP IG.v2) for Primary Care in Shenzhen,China:a Delphi Study

Subjects: Medicine, Pharmacy >> Clinical Medicine submitted time 2023-09-01 Cooperative journals: 《

Abstract: Background Primary care doctors in Shenzhen,China are increasingly expected to identify and prevent depressive disorder;however, they have received limited mental health training and community healthcare centres(CHCs)do not provide standardised protocols for the diagnosis and care of depressive disorder. The World Health Organization's mental health gap intervention guide, version 2(mhGAP-IG.v2)is a decision support tool for non-specialists for the assessment, management and follow-up of mental, neurological and substance use disorders(including depressive disorder). Given that mhGAP-IG.v2 is a generic tool,it requires adaptation to take account of cultural differences in depression presentation and unique characteristics of China's emergent mental health system. Methods A two-round,web-based,Delphi survey was conducted. A panel of primary care doctors from Shenzhen, were invited to score their level of agreement with 199 statements (arranged across 10 domains)proposing changes to the content and structure of mhGAP-IG.v2 for use in Shenzhen. Consensus was predefined as 80% panelists providing a rating of either "somewhat agree/definitely agree",or "definitely disagree/somewhat disagree" on a five-point scale for agreement. Results 79% of statements received consensus with a mean score of 4.26(i.e. "somewhat agree"). Agreed adaptations for mhGAP-IG.v2 included:an assessment approach which considers a broader spectrum of depression symptoms and reflects the life course of disease;incorporating guidance for screening tool usage;clarifying physicians' roles and including referral pathways for intersectorial care with strong family involvement;aligning drug treatment with national formularies;stronger emphasis of suicide prevention throughout all sections of the guide;contextualizing health education;reflecting a person-centred approach to care. Panelists chose to maintain diagnostic and treatment advice for bipolar patients experiencing a depressive episode as in the current guide. Conclusion An adapted mhGAP-IG.v2 for depression recognises China's cultural and contextual needs for assessment guidance;unique primary healthcare system organization, priorities and treatment availability;and diverse psychosocial educational needs. An adapted mhGAP-IG.v2 could both inform the future training programs for primary care in Shenzhen and also offer an additional mental health resource for non-specialists in other countries.

  • Study and Enlightenment of Energy Policies of Major Developed Countries

Subjects: Other Disciplines >> Synthetic discipline submitted time 2023-03-28 Cooperative journals: 《

Abstract: This work studies various official documents issued by the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan in the field of energy within the last decade, and analyzes strategic plans, funds, scientific and technological projects deployment, organizational mechanisms by the content analysis method. It is found that there are some common features in energy policies of the above countries and regions: natural resources conditions are the basis for developing energy policies, diversification and clean and efficient usage are common targets, scientific and technological innovation is important for achieving the targets. Finally, some suggestions are put forward on energy transition in China.

  • IMPROVING THE INTERGRANULAR CORROSION RESISTANCE OF THE WELD HEAT-AFFECTED ZONE BY GRAIN BOUNDARY ENGINEERING IN 304 AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL

Abstract: The heat-affected zone (HAZ) produced by welding in stainless steel has higher susceptibility to intergranular corrosion, which is attributed to the Cr depletion induced by grain-boundary carbide-precipitation. The grain boundary engineering can be used to control over the grain boundary structure, which has significant influence on the carbide precipitation and the associated Cr depletion and hence on the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion. The grain boundary network in a 304 austenite stainless steel can be controlled by grain boundary engineering (GBE) with 5% tensile deformation and subsequent annealing at 1100 ℃ for 30 min. The total length proportion of Σ3n coincidence site lattice (CSL) boundaries was increased to more than 75%, and the large-size highlytwinned grain-cluster microstructure was formed through the treatment of GBE. Specimens were welded by gas tungsten arc- welding. Then the microstructure and the corrosion resistance of HAZ were characterized. The result showed that the high proportion of low ΣCSL boundaries and the optimum grain boundary character distribution were stable in the HAZ of the grain boundary engineered stainless steel, and the grain size was nearly the same. The weld-decay region of GBE samples performed better intergranular corrosion resistance during the intergranular corrosion immersion experiment and electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation (EPR) test. The reported results indicated that the grain boundary engineering can effectively improve the intergranular corrosion resistance of the heat-affected zone in 304 austenitic stainless steel.

Subjects: Materials Science >> Materials Science (General) submitted time 2023-03-18 Cooperative journals: 《

Abstract: For further improvement of the compatibility between chitosan(CS) and hydroxyapatite (HA), surface modification of HA was carried out with CS to prepare hydroxyapatite-grafted-chitosan (HAg-CS) The results of FT-IR, TGA and XRD show that CS was successfully grafted onto HA surface, SEM observation showed that the dispersity of HA-g-CS in the CS matrix was significantly improved, and the CS/HA-g-CS hydrogel exhibited much more better compression performance than that of the CS/HA. The biocompatibility evaluation showed that the CS/HA-g-CS composite hydrogel showed no cytotoxicity and implantation safety in vitro according with the requirement of national standards, and was expected to be served as a potential scaffold material applied in tissue engineering.

Subjects: Materials Science >> Materials Science (General) submitted time 2016-11-04 Cooperative journals: 《
