  • Artificial Intelligence and the Future: AI Literacy Education in University Libraries from the Perspective of Large Models

    Abstract:   Purpose/Significance Under the new situation of the rise of AI big models and generative AI, AI literacy has become the basic ability requirement for personal survival and development. Research on AI literacy education in colleges and universities is conducive to cultivating talents who adapt to the development of the times and promoting the development and application of Al technology. Method/Process Systematically sort out relevant concepts such as information literacy, digital literacy, and AI literacy. Based on summarizing the research progress on AI literacy education at home and abroad, list the measures of five domestic universities in the practice of AI literacy education, and provide suggestions for AI literacy education in university libraries. Result/Conclusion Taking university libraries as the core battlefield of literacy education, the quality and effectiveness of AI literacy education in libraries are improved from four aspects: establishing a sound education system, strengthening the construction of teaching staff, emphasizing practical operations, and establishing an education evaluation system.
