摘要:The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor (HUBS) mission will carry a nested X-ray telescope capable of observing an energy range from 0.5 keV to 2 keV to study hot baryon evolution. In this paper, we report the latest progress in the design and construction of nested X-ray telescopes which were designed to use a three-stage conicapproximation type assembly to simplify the manufacturing process. The mirror substrate is made using the thermal glass slumping method, with mirrors characterized by a root-mean-square roughness of 0.3 nm, with expected high reflectivity and good thermal stability. We also discuss methods of telescope construction and conduct a deformation analysis of the manufactured mirror. The in situ measurement system program is developed to guide the telescope assembly process.

摘要: The high-intensity heavy-ion accelerator facility (HIAF) is a scientific research facility complex composed ofmultiple cascade accelerators of different types, which pose a scheduling problem for devices distributed overa certain range of 2 km, involving over a hundred devices. The White Rabbit (WR), a technology-enhancingGigabit Ethernet, has shown the capability of scheduling distributed timing devices but still faces the challengeof obtaining real-time synchronization calibration parameters with high precision. This study presents a calibra#2;tion system based on a time-to-digital converter implemented on an ARM-based System-on-Chip (SoC). Thesystem consists of four multi-sample delay lines, a bubble-proof encoder, an edge controller for managing datafrom different channels, and a highly effective calibration module that benefits from the SoC architecture. Theperformance was evaluated with an average RMS precision of 5.51 ps by measuring the time intervals from 0to 24000 ps with 120000 data for every test. The design presented in this study refines the calibration precisionof the HIAF timing system. This eliminates the errors caused by manual calibration without efficiency loss andprovides data support for fault diagnosis. It can also be easily tailored or ported to other devices for specificapplications and provides more space for developing timing systems for particle accelerators, such as whiterabbits on HIAF.

摘要: 核安全防护通常需要同时探测中子和伽马射线,探测器的实时中子/伽马脉冲分辨是其关键性能参数。近年来,采用Cs2LiLaBr6 (CLLB)晶体的双读出探测器引起了广泛关注,论文研究电荷比较法、幅度比较法、时间比较法和脉冲梯度法的甄别性能,以及Sallen-Key滤波器的甄别效果。实验结果表明,通过合适的滤波,四种方法的品质因数(FOM)都有所提高。其中,电荷比较法抗噪声性能最佳,最适合CLLB探测器实时甄别中子/伽马脉冲。其甄别性能取决于参数、和。在对应脉冲峰值10%的时刻,,仅需延迟640-740 ns,此刻对应3.1-3.3 MeV的电荷比较方法最优FOM大于1.46。所提出的最大分辨差模型( MDDM)计算值与最优FOM的差异小于3.9%,表明该模型可以很好地指导电荷比较法的参数选择。

摘要: The body, unconsciousness, and consciousness can be considered three stages of evolutionary mind from a phylogenetic perspective, which can be further framed as three hierarchies of mind based on dynamic systems theory. These three hierarchies interact via intrapersonal information flow, working in tandem to manage an individual well. Within a dyadic system, two minds with multiple hierarchies can interact through several basic communication forms (i.e., body-to-body, body-to-unconsciousness, body-to-consciousness, unconsciousness-to-unconsciousness, unconsciousness-to-consciousness, and consciousness-to-consciousness) based on interpersonal information flow. In actual exchanges, these forms are blended and become richer due to intrapersonal information flow. In psychoanalytic therapy, analysts should focus on intrapersonal information flow to enhance patients self-regulation while emphasizing therapistpatient interaction to execute mutual regulation. Overall, the therapistpatient and motherinfant interaction constitutes a complex communication process.

摘要: The spectral observations and analysis for the W80 Region are presented by using the data of Medium-Resolution Spectroscopic Survey of Nebulae (MRS-N) with the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopy Telescope (LAMOST). A total of 2982 high-quality nebular spectra have been obtained in the 20 square degree field of view (FoV) which covers the W80 complex, and the largest sample of spectral data have been established for the first time. The relative intensities, radial velocities (RVs), and Full Widths at Half Maximum (FWHMs) are measured with the high spectral resolution of LAMOST MRS, for H$\alpha$ $\lambda$ 6563 \AA, [\ion{N}{ii}] $\lambda$$\lambda$ 6548 \AA, 6584 \AA \ , and [\ion{S}{ii}] $\lambda$$\lambda$ 6716 \AA, 6731 \AA \ emission lines. In the field of view of whole W80 Region, the strongest line emissions are found to be consistent with the bright nebulae, NGC 7000, IC 5070, and LBN 391, and weak line emissions also truly exist in the Middle Region, where no bright nebulae are detected by the wide-band optical observations. The large-scale spectral observations to the W80 Region reveal the systematic spatial variations of RVs and FWHMs, and several unique structural features. A 'curved feature' to the east of the NGC 7000, and a 'jet feature' to the west of the LBN 391 are detected to be showing with larger radial velocities. A 'wider FWHM region' is identified in the eastern part of the NGC 7000. The variations of [\ion{S}{ii}] / H${\alpha}$ ratios display a gradient from southwest to northeast in the NGC 7000 region, and manifest a ring shape around the 'W80 bubble' ionized by an O-type star in the L935. Further spectral and multi-band observations are guaranteed to investigate in detail the structural features.

摘要: The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) medium-resolution spectral survey of Galactic Nebulae (MRS-N) has conducted for three years since Sep. 2018 and observed more than 190 thousands nebular spectra and 20 thousands stellar spectra. However, there is not yet a data processing pipeline for nebular data. To significantly improve the accuracy of nebulae classification and their physical parameters, we developed the MRS-N Pipeline. This article presented in detail each data processing step of the MRS-N Pipeline, such as removing cosmic rays, merging single exposure, fitting sky light emission lines, subtracting skylight, wavelength recalibration, measuring nebular parameters, creating catalogs and packing spectra. Finally, a description of the data products, including nebular spectra files and parameter catalogs, is provided.

摘要: As hosts of living high-mass stars, Wolf-Rayet (WR) regions or WR galaxies are ideal objects for constraining the high-mass end of the stellar initial mass function (IMF). We construct a large sample of 910 WR galaxies/regions that cover a wide range of stellar metallicity (from Z~0.001 up to Z~0.03), by combining three catalogs of WR galaxies/regions previously selected from the SDSS and SDSS-IV/MaNGA surveys. We measure the equivalent widths of the WR blue bump at ~4650 A for each spectrum. They are compared with predictions from stellar evolutionary models Starburst99 and BPASS, with different IMF assumptions (high-mass slope {\alpha} of the IMF ranging from 1.0 up to 3.3). Both singular evolution and binary evolution are considered. We also use a Bayesian inference code to perform full spectral fitting to WR spectra with stellar population spectra from BPASS as fitting templates. We then make model selection among different {\alpha} assumptions based on Bayesian evidence. These analyses have consistently led to a positive correlation of IMF high-mass slope {\alpha} with stellar metallicity Z, i.e. with steeper IMF (more bottom-heavy) at higher metallicities. Specifically, an IMF with {\alpha}=1.00 is preferred at the lowest metallicity (Z~0.001), and a Salpeter or even steeper IMF is preferred at the highest metallicity (Z~0.03). These conclusions hold even when binary population models are adopted.

摘要: The Chinese H{\alpha} Solar Explorer (CHASE), dubbed "Xihe" - Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration (CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the H{\alpha} waveband. The H{\alpha} Imaging Spectrograph (HIS) is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 {\AA} and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 {\AA} with 0.024 {\AA} pixel spectral resolution and 1 minute temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 {\AA} with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 {\AA}. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. In this paper, we present an overview of the CHASE mission including the scientific objectives, HIS instrument overview, data calibration flow, and first results of on-orbit observations.

摘要: We introduce a method of subtracting geocoronal Halpha emissions from the spectra of LAMOST medium-resolution spectral survey of Galactic nebulae (LAMOST-MRS-N). The flux ratios of the Halpha sky line to the adjacent OH lambda6554 single line do not show a pattern or gradient distribution in a plate. More interestingly, the ratio is well correlated to solar altitude, which is the angle of the sun relative to the Earth's horizon. It is found that the ratio decreases from 0.8 to 0.2 with the decreasing solar altitude from -17 to -73 degree. Based on this relation, which is described by a linear function, we can construct the Halpha sky component and subtract it from the science spectrum. This method has been applied to the LAMOST-MRS-N data, and the contamination level of the Halpha sky to nebula is reduced from 40% to less than 10%. The new generated spectra will significantly improve the accuracy of the classifications and the measurements of physical parameters of Galactic nebulae.

摘要: Exceptional points (EPs) represent a distinct type of spectral singularity in non-Hermitian systems, and intriguing physics concepts have been studied with optical EPs recently. As a system beyond photonics, the mechanical oscillators coupling with many physical systems are expected to be further exploited EPs for mechanical sensing, topology energy transfer, nonreciprocal dynamics etc. In this study, we demonstrated on-chip mechanical EPs with a silicon optomechanical zipper cavity, wherein two near-degenerate mechanical breathing modes are coupled via a single co-localized optical mode. By tailoring the dissipative and coherent couplings between two mechanical oscillators, the spectral splitting with 1/2 order response, a distinctive feature of EP, was observed successfully. Our work provides an integrated platform for investigating the physics related to mechanical EPs on silicon chips and suggests their possible applications for ultrasensitive measurements.

摘要: In quantum optics, orbital angular momentum (OAM) is very promising to achieve high-dimensional quantum states due to the nature of infinite and discrete eigenvalue, which is quantized by the topological charge of l. Here, a heralded single-photon source with switchable OAM modes is proposed and demonstrated on silicon chip. At room-temperature, the heralded single photons with 11 OAM modes (l=2~6, -6~-1) have been successfully generated and switched through thermo-optical effect. We believe that such an integrated quantum source with multiple OAM modes and operating at room-temperature would provide a practical platform for high-dimensional quantum information processing. Moreover, our proposed architecture can also be extended to other material systems to further improve the performance of OAM quantum source.

摘要: Faint light spectroscopy has many important applications such as fluorescence spectroscopy, lidar and astronomical observations. However, long measurement time limit its application on real-time measurement. In this work, a photon counting reconstructive spectrometer combining metasurfaces and superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) was proposed. A prototype device was fabricated on a silicon on isolator (SOI) substrate, and its performance was characterized. Experiment results show that this device support spectral reconstruction of mono-color lights with a resolution of 2 nm in the wavelength region of 1500 nm ~ 1600 nm. The detection efficiency of this device is 1.4% ~ 3.2% in this wavelength region. The measurement time required by this photon counting reconstructive spectrometer was also investigated experimentally, showing its potential to be applied in the scenarios requiring real-time measurement.

摘要: Normal group velocity dispersion (GVD) microcombs offer high comb line power and high pumping efficiency compared to bright pulse microcombs. The recent demonstration of normal GVD microcombs using CMOS-foundry-produced microresonators is an important step towards scalable production. However, the chromatic dispersion of CMOS devices is large and impairs generation of broadband microcombs. Here, we report the development of a microresonator in which GVD is reduced due to a couple-ring resonator configuration. Operating in the turnkey self-injection-locking mode, the resonator is hybridly integrated with a semiconductor laser pump to produce high-power-efficiency combs spanning a bandwidth of 9.9 nm (1.22 THz) centered at 1560 nm, corresponding to 62 comb lines. Fast, linear optical sampling of the comb waveform is used to observe the rich set of near-zero GVD comb behaviors, including soliton molecules, switching waves (platicons) and their hybrids. Tuning of the 20 GHz repetition rate by electrical actuation enables servo locking to a microwave reference, which simultaneously stabilizes the comb repetition rate, offset frequency and temporal waveform. This hybridly integrated system could be used in coherent communications or for ultra-stable microwave signal generation by two-point optical frequency division.

摘要: Photonic Ising machine is a new paradigm of optical computing, which is based on the characteristics of light wave propagation, parallel processing and low loss transmission. Thus, the process of solving the combinatorial optimization problems can be accelerated through photonic/optoelectronic devices. In this work, we have proposed and demonstrated the so-called Phase-Encoding and Intensity Detection Ising Annealer (PEIDIA) to solve arbitrary Ising problems on demand. The PEIDIA is based on the simulated annealing algorithm and requires only one step of optical linear transformation with simplified Hamiltonian calculation. With PEIDIA, the Ising spins are encoded on the phase term of the optical field and only intensity detection is required during the solving process. As a proof of principle, several 20-dimensional Ising problems have been solved with high ground state probability (0.98 within 1000 iterations for the antiferromagnetic cubic model, >0.99 within 4000 iterations for two random spin-glass models, respectively). It should be mentioned that our proposal is also potential to be implemented with integrated photonic devices such as tunable metasurfaces to achieve large-scale and on-demand photonic Ising machines.

摘要: We experimentally demonstrate the generation of customized perfect Laguerre-Gaussian (PLG) beams whose intensity maxima localized around any desired curves. The principle is to act appropriate algebraic functions on the angular spectra of PLG beams. We characterize the propagation properties of these beams and compare them with non-diffraction caustic beams possessing the same intensity profiles. The results manifest that the customized-PLG beams can maintain their profiles during propagation and suffer less energy loss than the non-diffraction caustic beams, and hence are able to propagate a longer distance. This new structure beam would have potential applications in areas such as optical communication, soliton routing and steering, optical tweezing and trapping, atom optics, etc.

摘要: Spectral imaging extends the concept of traditional color cameras to capture images across multiple spectral channels and has broad application prospects. Conventional spectral cameras based on scanning methods suffer from low acquisition speed and large volume. On-chip computational spectral imaging based on metasurface filters provides a promising scheme for portable applications, but endures long computation time for point-by-point iterative spectral reconstruction and mosaic effect in the reconstructed spectral images. In this study, we demonstrated on-chip rapid spectral imaging eliminating the mosaic effect in the spectral image by deep-learning-based spectral data cube reconstruction. We experimentally achieved four orders of magnitude speed improvement than iterative spectral reconstruction and high fidelity of spectral reconstruction over 99% for a standard color board. In particular, we demonstrated video-rate spectral imaging for moving objects and outdoor driving scenes with good performance for recognizing metamerism, where the concolorous sky and white cars can be distinguished via their spectra, showing great potential for autonomous driving and other practical applications in the field of intelligent perception.

摘要: One-shot spectral imaging that can obtain spectral information from different points in space at one time has always been difficult to achieve, and is extremely important for both fundamental scientific research and various practical applications. In this study, one-shot ultraspectral imaging by fitting thousands of micro-spectrometers on a chip, is proposed and demonstrated. Exotic light modulation is achieved by using a reconfigurable metasurface supercell, which enables 155,216 image-adaptive micro-spectrometers, simultaneously guaranteeing the spectral-pixel density and reconstructed spectral quality. By constructing a compressive-sensing algorithm, the device can reconstruct ultraspectral imaging ($\Delta\lambda$/$\lambda$~0.001) covering a 300-nm-wide visible spectrum with an ultra-high center-wavelength accuracy of 0.04-nm standard deviation and spectral resolution of 0.8 nm. This scheme can be extended to almost any commercial camera with different spectral bands to seamlessly switch between image and spectral image, and opens up a new space for the application of spectral analysis combining with image recognition and intellisense.

摘要: Hadamard single-pixel imaging (HSI) is an appealing imaging technique due to its features of low hardware complexity and industrial cost. To improve imaging efficiency, many studies have focused on sorting Hadamard patterns to obtain reliable reconstructed images with very few samples. In this study, we present an efficient HSI imaging method that employs an exponential probability function to sample Hadamard spectra along a direction with better energy concentration for obtaining Hadamard patterns. We also propose an XY order to further optimize the pattern-selection method with extremely fast Hadamard order generation while retaining the original performance. We used the compressed sensing algorithm for image reconstruction. The simulation and experimental results show that these pattern-selection method reliably reconstructs objects and preserves the edge and details of images.
