Abstract:
This case report summarizes the nursing experience of a child with pancreatic divisum (PD) who developed acute pancreatitis after ERCP, treated with a three-in-one technique of self-made Qingyi Plaster application, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) application, and acupoint embedding. Guided by TCM syndrome differentiation and meridian theory, Qingyi Plaster and rhubarb were effectively combined and applied to the abdomen, supplemented by acupoint embedding to achieve the effects of soothing the liver, strengthening the spleen, and purging the bowels to clear heat. The integrated TCM and Western medicine treatment model, through external treatment for internal diseases, accelerated the improvement of acute pancreatitis symptoms, shortened the course of the disease, and is beneficial for clinical reference.
