Abstract:
[Purpose/significance] This paper designs embedded teaching strategies based on flipped class and uses the strategies in many representative courses, aiming to promote embedded teaching effect and efficiency. [Method/process] The subject librarians design an embedded teaching strategy of students studying by themselves online before class, teachers carrying out interactive teaching activities in class and offering consultation services both online and offline after class. Besides, the librarians put the strategies into use. Finally, they assess the teaching effects by conducting questionnaires. [Result/conclusion] The teaching practice shows that embedded instruction based on flipped class is effective. The majority of the students like the use of flipped class in the embedded instruction. They agree that the flipped class is effective and has many advantages over traditional teaching methods. However, the subject librarians need to further explore librarian competence promotion, students' learning initiative improvement, and platform function and technical application strengthening, etc.
