    Abstract: This article mainly discusses the application and potential of smart meters in the field of power distribution, as well as two different technical solutions for active repair of distribution networks. The article describes the application and potential of smart meters in the field of power distribution. Since 2017, although the demand for smart meters in the basic market is not strong, it has broad application prospects in the large-scale construction and transformation of intelligent distribution networks, including the monitoring and optimization of the operation level of comprehensive indicators of distribution networks, the emergency repair of distribution networks from passive to active, and the monitoring and control of high power quality of distribution networks. This paper discusses two different technical solutions for active repair of distribution networks. The first is the Suzhou Power Supply Company's distribution network active repair system based on new smart meters. The system learns from the "Last Gasp" function concept of Jemena in Australia to realize the function of the smart meter to actively upload power outage information after a power outage. At the level of the emergency repair system, the distribution network unified distribution data model and greedy algorithm are used to quickly respond and analyze the scope of power outages. In the pilot project of Beilian Village, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, the system has greatly improved the quality and efficiency of emergency repair, and it only takes 1 minute from the user's power outage to receiving the power outage fault information, and the emergency repair personnel can restore the user's electricity within 10 minutes. The second is the terminal power grid intelligent perception system developed by Jiangsu Electric Power. By monitoring the changes in the voltage data at the back end of the user's meter, the system can sense the power outage status in advance and accurately reach the household, so as to realize the real-time monitoring of the terminal power grid. When a user loses power, the abnormal data will be transmitted to the branch box and distribution transformer step by step through the topological relationship, and the distribution network staff can know the user who has lost power within 30 seconds, without the need to check from house to house. To sum up, smart meters have a wide range of application prospects and great potential in the field of power distribution. By introducing and exploring new technical solutions, such as the distribution network active repair system based on new smart meters and the terminal power grid intelligent perception system, the operation efficiency and reliability of the distribution network can be greatly improved, and users can be provided with better power supply services.

    Abstract: This article mainly introduces the construction process and related technical development of the State Grid electricity information collection system. Firstly, this paper summarizes the construction goals and development process of the State Grid electricity information collection system, and focuses on the construction and application effect of the power consumption information collection system of Jiangsu Power Grid. Then, the key technologies and engineering applications of the power information acquisition system are summarized and described, including the system architecture, the number of terminals and channel types, the master station equipment, data management and application. This paper mentions the key technologies of the power consumption information acquisition system, including low-cost communication mode, safety requirements for large user load control, wireless public network online technology, unified data model and parallel data processing technology. In general, this paper provides a useful reference for the technical exploration of the State Grid electricity information collection system.
