Abstract: With the rapid development of internet technology and e-commerce industry, live streaming has become a hot spot for major e-commerce platforms, and it has gradually turned consumers in live streaming rooms into fans who are active in the internet and become a force that cannot be ignored. In recent years, the launch of Eastern Selection Live broke the traditional e-commerce live streaming model, further narrowing the emotional connection between the audience and the anchor, and opening up a new model of integrating knowledge into live streaming. This article takes the Eastern Selection Live Room as an example to explore the needs of fans in China's live streaming from a participatory culture perspective, hoping to make a certain contribution to the innovative development of e-commerce live streaming in China.
