Abstract: This article selects a patient with pulmonary infection caused by aspiration of enteral feeding through a nasogastric tube at home. After hospitalization in our department, the patient needs to be replaced with a nasogastric tube for enteral nutrition support. Due to the sequelae of cerebral infarction, the patient has been bedridden for a long time and has slow gastrointestinal peristalsis. After two failed attempts at tube placement, the patient has successfully placed the tube by accumulating experience and consulting literature, fully leveraging the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine technology. Subsequently, nutritional support is provided to the patient, and the indicators have significantly improved. This successful case not only proves the effectiveness of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment, but also provides new ideas for catheterization methods. The case records are as follows.
