Abstract： Our country has formally established the system of science and technology ethics review, in which the Science and Technology Ethics Committee plays a pivotal role. By examining the developmental history of ethics committees, it becomes evident that this organizational form initially emerged within the realm of bioethics before gradually expanding into science and technology ethics. The Science and Technology Ethics Committee assumes the responsibility of safeguarding both substantive and procedural ethics.

Abstract： Chapter 9 of the book is a shorter paper written by Kumar Jayasuriya titled "Data Mining in Law Firms: Leveraging Internal Expertise to Drive Decisions." It mainly introduces the use of internal data by law firms to drive decision-making. The author believes that this part of data is the most important and underutilized data for law firms. Law firms with access to these data sources will have the opportunity to create new legal services. , by leveraging unused data resources, law firms can become data-driven organizations and gain market advantage. The full text is discussed through seven chapters: big data, giving value to legal practice, data-driven strategy, data team, strategic target data, discovering internal expertise and using big data to innovate.
