    Abstract: In order to study the anti-blast performance of flexible fabric , the response and failure behaviorof fabric under blast impact were analyzed by tests. The blast tests of aramid fabric , carbon fabric and ul-tra-high molecular weight polyethylene fabric were carried out , and the results were compared with hybridfabrics.Furthermore,the blast resistance ability of hybrid fabrics with different thickness was evaluated.The results show that the main failure modes of fabric are perforation , tear , yarn pull-off ,and burn.The re-sults show that the overpressure attenuation capacity of hybrid fabrics and aramid fabrics is better than thatof UHMWPE fiber fabrics and carbon fiber fabrics when the thickness is the same.Carbon fiber fabric isnot suitable to be used as anti-blast material alone and UHMWPE fabric is not suitable for front-face be-cause of the influence of high temperature.
