Accessibility of Geospatial Layout of Public Libraries

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The geospatial layout of public libraries affects the way readers come to the library and the cost, which in turn affects the reader's experience and frequency of library access.[Method/process] Based on the travel chain theory and field theory, the research focuses on the geographical space layout of public libraries., and analyzes the convenience of readers to access public libraries, and analyzes the dynamic relationship and quantitative evaluation between the distribution of urban public transportation and living facilities and public libraries network layouts. A case study of the layout of Suzhou City Public Library was conducted by using ArcGIS.[Result/conclusion] In order to improve the convenience of the geographical space layout of public library, The results propose strategies to establish interaction relationship with public transportation, access to the library's outer space and extend to the readers' life circle.
