Abstract: [Purpose/significance] At the important node of IR development entering a stable period and in the transition to the next generation of IR, this paper reviews the construction process, status quo and challenges of institutional repository in China, so as to achieve the purpose of accelerating and deepening the development of IR in China. [Method/process] First, it adopts the empirical research method combining the network survey method and telephone and email survey methods, and takes domestic universities, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other scientific research institutes as the survey object to investigate the development status of the national IR; second, the survey results According to the comparative analysis of the university system, scientific research system and the overall situation, summarize the IR development achievements and problems. [Result/conclusion] Some achievements have been made in IR construction. The number of IR under construction and to be built is increasing, and the resource scale is increasing greatly. However, there are some problems in the development of IR, such as imperfect management policies, excessive access restrictions, unclear intellectual property rights, insufficient openness and low self storage rate.

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The analysis of thelinked open data provided by the Springer Nature SciGraph platform provides a reference for the domestic publishers to use the linked data to promote the practice of linked open research in the scholarly communication and the semantic publishing, and push forward the further development of the open scientific research movement. [Method/process] This paper analyzed the entity objects, vocabularies and data models of the Springer Nature SciGraph platformin detail. [Result/conclusion] Springer Nature SciGraph represents the data by building its own ontology and using a simpler serialized format N-Triples triple for RDF.As one of the world’s largest publishers, Springer Nature Linked Data will provide some references for other publishers to realize the linked research in the future.

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] A detailed comparison of the mapping between the Cooperative Patent Classification System (CPC) and the International Patent Classification System (IPC) is intended to provide references for the use of CPC and IPC for patent classification. [Method/process] This paper made a detailed mapping number analysis between CPC and IPC in terms of the class, subclass, group and subgroup on their common A-H sections. [Result/conclusion] The classification principle between the Cooperative Patent Classification System (CPC) and the International Patent Classification System (IPC) is basically consistent and CPC is more subdivided than the IPC. The “2000 series (indexing)” and the Y section of the new technology are added, showing CPC’s high extensibility. We believe that as a strong compatibility and high degree classification system, CPC will become an efficient tool to improve the efficiency of retrieval and optimize the review quality.

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper presents the collaboration model of crowdsourcing research projects, to provide theoretical guidance and action guidelines for the development of collaborative research in China under open environment.[Method/process] This paper analyzed the collaborative process of the Crowd Research project from four-aspects,including the recruitment of public participants, synchronous collaboration, the submission of research results, and the production of academic results. The key steps of each part were described and some implications for the development of crowdsourcing research projects in China were summarized.[Result/conclusion] This paper finds that Crowd Research has developed a new type of collaboration model of crowdsourcing research based on the crowdsourcing technology, in which public scientists can collaborate in the research process under the leadership of professional researchers, including independent selection of milestones, peer review submissions, mutual assignment of contribution values, co-publishing academic papers, etc.

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The paper aims to improve the efficiency of citation retrieval service, facilitate researchers to query citation report by self-service, expand the function of scientific research evaluation service of institutional repository, and develop the cited reference retrieve function of CSpace system based on institutional repository.[Method/process] It researches the key process and details of artificial service, proposes the necessity of IR to extend functionality, designs the flow chart of function realize, and uses the J2EE framework to realize the function.[Result/conclusion] The function has been tested and evaluated, which can achieve more than 95% of the citation accuracy. Compared with manual retrieval, the service efficiency is improved obviously, and the library saves about 75% of human resources. The institutional repository has realized the effective support for the investigation and retrieval service.

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] This paper explores the motivations and main practices that promote the process of European open science, finds out the inner logic, the system and the practical path of its development, and to provide a decision-making reference for the development and practice of open science in China. [Method/process] Through the network investigation method to summarize the concept and practice of EU in promoting open access from 2006 to recent years, summed up its ideas and practices to promote the development of open science. [Result/conclusion] The development of open science in Europe has a sound policy system and practical path. China can use its development experience for reference to promote the development of open science in the light of its national conditions.

Abstract:[目的/意义]Springer Nature SciGraph平台提供的关联开放数据的分析,为国内出版商在学术交流和语义出版中使用关联数据促进科研的关联开放实践提供参考,可推动我国开放科研运动的进一步向前发展。[方法/过程] 对Springer Nature SciGraph平台发布的实体对象、采用的词表、数据模型进行详细分析。[结果/结论] Springer Nature SciGraph通过构建自己的本体,采用一种用于RDF的更简单的序列化N-Triples格式的三元组对数据进行表示,作为世界上最大的出版商之一,Springer Nature关联数据在今后必将为其他出版商要实现科研关联开放提供一定的借鉴。

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The high level of new types of think tanks cannot be separated from the high level information support mechanism. The traditional think tank information organization mechanism in the big data era cannot adapt to the current data characteristics and decision-making requirements. Constructing the knowledge repository that supports the decision-making process is becoming the inevitable trend of the development of think tanks. [Method/process] This paper chose foreign think tanks with reference value in 2015 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report as the research objective, and summarized several kinds of information organization methods which were common in the current think tank by using the literature research method and case analysis method. It also analyzed the data value chain and its requirements for all aspects of the think tank, and accordingly put forward the necessity of the construction of knowledge repository of think tanks. [Result/conclusion] Finally, a general knowledge repository framework for decision-making process is proposed, and the knowledge organization model in the knowledge repository is constructed by the semantic ontology method. In order to provide references for the achievement of the transformation from the semi-automatic decision-making process to the automatic one.

Abstract: [Objective]This study aims to help an organization automatically download its empolyees’ open access papers from iSwitch, and then import these articles to the institutional repository. [Methods] We first synchronized data from iSwitch through timing task scheduling based on FTP protocol. Second, we parsed files and saved metadata to the database in advance. Some functions, such as import process and data management, as well as audit, were also provided. [Results] Papers could be automatically synchronized from iSwitch and then imported to the institutional repository by the system administrator. We have successfully analyzed and imported more than 60, 000 items from Web of Science. [Limitations] The accuracy and timeliness of the service by iSwitch need to be improved. The data import function of the institutional repository should also be optimized for better services. [Conclusions] The high quality institutional repositories built on iSwitch, which significantly relieve burden of researchers and system administors, should be promoted.
