    Abstract: Harvesting flow kinetic energy to power microelectronic devices has become a research hot topicin the area of nonlinear vibration dynamics. Nonlinear restoring force is provided by magnetic repulsionforce of the permanent magnet.A tristable wake galloping vibration energy harvester is put forward by em-bedding the nonlinear restoring force in the piezoelectric cantilever and power generation system in the pa-per.'The mechanical model and governing equations are established.'The analytic expressions of stable andunstable equilibrium points are obtained. The value range of structure parameters is acquired when tristablemotion occurs in the tristable wake galloping vibration energy harvester. 'The dynamic performance andpower generation performance are studied by simulations under the condition of the equal equilibriumpoints with different potential well depth and the equal potential well depth with different equilibriumpoints. The simulation results show that the reduced velocity of the tristable wake galloping vibration ener-gy harvester under the condition of the equal equilibrium points with shallow potential well depth is smallerthan that under the condition of the equal equilibrium points with other potential well depth ,so is the pow-er generation performance.
