  • A Study on Influencing Factors of Patent Grant in the Field of Biotechnology

    Abstract: [Purpose/significance] After the invention patent has been applied for and published, it has been in a pending legal status until the substantive examination decision is made. At this stage, the assessment of the prospects of patent grant is meaningful in theory and practice. [Method/process] Taking the 88304 invention patents applied by Chinese applicants in the field of biotechnology in the National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPA) from 1985 to 2014 as the study object, constructing indicators based on patent documents, the factors which impacted patent grant are studied through Logistic regression. This paper compared and analyzed the differences in the factors affecting the patent grant of different types of innovation entities through group regression and comparison of coefficients. [Result/conclusion] Logistic regression results show that the number of claims, the number of inventors, whether the applications are disclosed in advance, the number of words in the first claim, and the number of patent document pages are all positively related to the probability of patent grant in the field of biotechnology. The patent grant rate of enterprises is lower than that of universities and scientific research institutions, but higher than that of individual patents. The results of group regression coefficient difference test show that the influence of variables on patent grant is significantly different among different types of innovation entities. Therefore, in the analysis of patent grant in the field of biotechnology, it is necessary to classify and consider different innovation subject.

  • 基于信道负载预测的VANET传输功率控制算法

    Abstract: In VANET, when traffic flow reaches a certain density will cause the channel congestion, thus causing inefficiency of cooperative security applications. Aiming at this issue, a beacon message transmission power control algorithm based on channel load forecasting was designed. First of all, evaluate the current time channel load by channel busy time ratio(CBR) . Secondly, predict the next time channel load by the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model(ARIMA) . Finally, compare the value of channel load forecasting with the preset threshold, and adaptive adjustment of the next moment transmission power to avoid channel congestion. The simulation experiment shows that the algorithm can effectively reduce the communication transmission delay and avoid channel congestion, ensuring that the data be sent reliably.

  • 基于并行干扰抵消的UFMC系统信道均衡

    Abstract: Universal filtered multi-carrier (UFMC) technology is a candidate for 5G , without cyclic redundancy (CP) in transmission and inter-symbol interference (ISI) and inter-carrier interference (ICI) will occur under multi-path fading channels. To solve this problem, an equalization algorithm based on parallel interfere was proposed. Firstly, according to the analysis, the mathematical expression of UFMC system interference under multi-path channel was obtained. Secondly , after using zero-forcing equalization, the data outside the reliable interval was used to approximate the reconstruction of adjacent carriers and inter-symbol interference according to the residual interference expression. Finally, appling iterative interference cancellation to each carrier in parallel. Simulation experiments show that under multipath channel, the algorithm can reduce the bit error rate to a certain extent and improve the UFMC system performance.

  • LTE-A系统中基于QoE能效的无线资源分配算法

    Abstract: In order to decrease the energy consumption of wireless communication system and ensure the user experience quality, this paper proposed a QoE-based energy efficiency resource allocation algorithm for LTE-A system. First, a mathematical model for jointly optimizing QoE and energy efficiency was proposed, especially considering the minimum QoE requirement of users. Secondly, an iterative algorithm was proposed to allocate user resource blocks (RBs) according to the constraints. Then, the optimal objective function was optimized by using the properties of fractional programming and using the convex optimization method to obtain the optimal transmit power. Simulation results show that compared with the existing energy efficiency resource allocation algorithm, the proposed algorithm can effectively guaranteed user's QoE while improving system performance.
