Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Although there have been efforts of scholars to answer the question, what’s determinants of patent citation formation are not solved satisfactorily. Scholars find formation of patent citation is influenced by the structure characteristics of patent citation network. However, the current framework of statistical inference methods based on logistical regression is failing to incorporate the above factors, so an innovative method need to be introduced. [Method/process] From a tie formation perspective, patent citation formation represents three broad category of tie formation processes: attribute-based processes, self-organizing network processes and covariates processes. Furthermore, based on these processes, the paper establishes a mapping relationship between those processes with particular types of configurations. Finally, a framework is proposed for understanding the complexity of patent citation formation. [Result/conclusion] The paper introduces a framework for understanding patent citation formation, which lays the groundwork for statistical network modeling in the future. In addition, broadly network configuration selection from the framework offers significant opportunities to extend existing bibliometrics and open new pathways in complexity of scientific network analysis.

  • Research on the Model of Adversarial Entity Relation Extraction in Cross-Lingual Context

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] From the perspective of entity relation extraction, the knowledge acquisition task in a single language context is extended to a cross-language context, and the relation extraction effect of low-resource languages is improved.[Method/process] This paper proposed a Cross-Lingual Adversarial Relation Extraction (CLARE) framework, which decomposed cross-lingual relation extraction into parallel corpus acquisition and adversarial adaptation relation extraction. Through dictionary expansion or self-learning methods, the source language relation extraction data set was converted into the target language data set. On this basis, the feature representation of the source language was transferred to the target language using adversarial feature adaptation, and then the target language relation extraction network obtained by training was used to classify the target language.[Result/conclusion] The method in this paper is applied to the English-Chinese and Chinese-English cross-lingual relation extraction task based on the ACE2005 multilingual dataset. The Macro-F1 values of the optimal models on the two tasks are 0.880 1 and 0.842 2 respectively, indicating that the proposed CLARE framework for cross-language adversarial relation extraction can significantly improve the effect of low-resource language entity relation extraction. The research results are of great significance for improving the relation extraction model in the cross-lingual context and promoting the application of entity relation extraction research in the field of information science.

  • Research on Multi-dimensional Social Attribute Analysis and Visualization of Weibo Public Opinion——Taking a Vaccine Event as an Example

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Combining sociological perspective and information science means, the social attributes and external manifestations of public opinion events on microblog are correspondingly integrated, which provides a new perspective for explaining the social problems behind public opinion events.[Method/process] Combing the current research situation related to public opinion, and constructing the social attributes and externalization performance model of public opinion on microblog. Focusing on public opinion and explaining the internal logic between the 3 social attributes of crowd, content and sentiment and the 3 external manifestations of opinion leader, event and emotion. Then taking a vaccine incident as an example for empirical research and visual display.[Result/conclusion] The results of empirical research verify the validity and operability of the social attributes and externalization performance model of microblog public opinion. From the perspective of sociology, using the advantages of quantitative and visual research methods in the field of information science, we can fully understand the externalization of different social attributes of public opinion events and dig deeply into the essential problems behind public opinion events.

  • Study on the Technical Schemes of Evidence Effectiveness Guaranteeing of Trusted Electronic Records

Subjects: Library Science,Information Science >> Information Science submitted time 2023-04-01 Cooperative journals: 《图书情报工作》

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Based on the interdisciplinary perspective of electronic records management and electronic evidence application, the technical schemes which aim to maintain the evidence effectiveness of trusted electronic records are proposed.[Method/process] This paper demonstrated the authenticity protection mechanism, advantages and unresolved problems of tamper-proof technologies recognized by the judiciary. And three technical schemes for ensuring the evidence effectiveness of trusted electronic records were proposed:"Electronic Signature and Time-stamp" "Blockchain Assisted Authenticity Verification" "Electronic Records-Electronic Evidence Full Blockchain Management", their applicable scenarios and management processes were discussed respectively.[Result/conclusion] The technical schemes support various organizations to deploy the work of electronic records management according to the legal requirements, formats, and confidentiality level, which improve the efficiency of evidence effectiveness guaranteeing of the electronic records.
