Abstract： Purpose This paper analyzed the differences of data publication policies of English journals of agricultural science at home and abroad,pointed out the problems of data publication policies of English journals of agricultural science at home,and put forward some data publications suggestions of English agricultural journals in China. Methods This paper analyzed the characteristics of data publication policies of English journals of agricultural science at home and abroad by network research,content analysis and case comparison. Findings The strength of the data policy of the most foreign agricultural journals is stronge,and these journals had detailed data submission and check standards,but both English journals of agricultural science at home and abroad should strengthen the management data publication copyright.The English agricultural journals in China should make the detailed data publication policies. Conclusions The agricultural journals in China should reinforce the awareness of data publication,study the experience of data publication of foreign agricultural journals,perfect the data publication details in order to promote the public sharing of agricultural scientific data.
