Abstract： [Purpose/significance] The paper aims to introduce the current situation of public libraries multicultural service in Taiwan, and to provide reference for improving the multicultural service of public libraries in mainland China.[Method/process] It uses the method of literature survey and network survey, from the perspective of service policy, service resources and activities, website construction and personnel constitute to investigate and analyze the multicultural service status of Taiwan library, Library of Public Information, Taipei Public Library and Kaohsiung Public Library.[Result/conclusion] The paper summarizes the enlightenment of multicultural service of public libraries in Taiwan area, including making multicultural service policy, integrating multicultural services resources and promoting activities, building multicultural service websites and cultivating multicultural service librarians, to promote the development of public library multicultural services in mainland China.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper makes a text analysis of nine provincial nationwide reading strategic planning in the 13th Five-Year Plan period of China, and explores the shortcomings of the existing provincial nationwide reading strategic planning, in order to provide suggestions for the nationwide reading strategic planning in the 14th Five-Year Plan and enrich the theoretical research of the nationwide reading strategic planning.[Method/process] By the method of literature research and network survey, this paper analyses and compares the text content of nine provincial nationwide reading strategic planning from five aspects:theoretical guidance, basic principles, main objectives, key tasks and safeguard measures.[Result/conclusion] Nationwide reading strategic planning in the 14th Five-Year Plan should pay attention to the following aspects:attaching importance to the top-level design of nationwide reading strategic planning;adding provisions on preparatory work for the nationwide reading;elastic planning of nationwide reading indicators;supporting the implementation of key tasks of nationwide reading strategic planning;specific regulations of nationwide reading outlays.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper probes into the impact factors of carrying out cultural precision poverty alleviation in public libraries, and explores the impact factors according to the data analysis results, in order to provide references for public libraries to effectively carry out cultural precision poverty alleviation.[Method/process] Based on the literature and questionnaire method, the macro and micro factors in the process of cultural precision poverty alleviation in public libraries were dismantled, and a series of analysis of questionnaire data was made by SPSS20.0. The impact factors mainly include cultural poverty alleviation policies, cultural poverty alleviation resources, and cultural poverty alleviation services, cultural poverty alleviation professionals, cultural poverty alleviation participation willingness, and cultural poverty alleviation performance evaluation.[Result/conclusion] The analysis results quantify macro and micro factors in the process of carrying out cultural precision poverty alleviation in public libraries, and summarize the weaknesses of policies, resources, services, professionals and performance evaluation in the current cultural precision poverty alleviation work in public libraries, and put forward feasible countermeasures.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] By investigating rural residents' demands of literature and information of 6 counties in Anhui, the paper explores rural residents' reading behavior and types of literature demands, in order to provide references for county libraries' precise services.[Method/process] In the face of 6 counties in Anhui, this paper uses questionnaire survey to investigate and analyze the status of rural residents' demands from the aspects of reading frequency, information access and content, demands of local library and types of literature and information demands.[Result/conclusion] The paper proposes some optimization measures on optimizing physical collections, training precise awareness, strengthening publicity and improving digital service to improve county libraries' precise services.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance]The advantages and disadvantages of urban reading space are analyzed from the perspective of users of urban reading space, providing effective references for the overall development of urban reading space in China.[Method/process] This paper analyzed the current status of urban reading space construction and built a reader satisfaction evaluation index system, including 5 types of indicators: facilities, equipment, environment, resources, services, and staff. It selected Hefei City, which has the largest number of urban reading spaces among the provincial capital cities, through face-to-face visits, face to face conducted an empirical investigation on the urban reading space in Hefei and issue reasonable suggestions in the form of a questionnaire distributed to and recycled by readers.[Result/conclusion] Through empirical analysis, it can be seen that urban reading space reader satisfaction is ranked from low to high as urban reading space resources, facilities and equipment indicators, service indicators, environmental indicators, and staff indicators. By analyzing readers' satisfaction with each indicator and its internal composition, it is targeted proposed measures to optimize the future development of urban reading space, including: broadening access to urban reading space resources, improving the construction of digital resources and accelerating the rate of resource update, attaching importance to and adding emergency lighting settings, and finding the balance between learning and entertainment facilities.

Abstract： [Purpose/significance] This paper studied the culture poverty alleviation practice of Canadian public libraries and summarized the enlightenments to the cultural targeted poverty alleviation of Chinese public libraries.[Method/process] By using the case analysis method, this paper combed Canadian provinces and territories poverty alleviation strategy paper, to explore the policy orientation and value embodiment of Canadian public Libraries' participation in cultural poverty alleviation, selected four Canadian representative public libraries as the main research object, summarized the service forms and characteristic examples of Canadian public libraries in such aspects as universal education of multi-literacy for the whole people, learning and health care for children and adolescents, cultural and employment support for new immigrants, and security services for the disabled.[Result/conclusion] It puts forward some useful enlightenments for Chinese public libraries to participate in cultural targeted poverty alleviation:deepen the concept of social inclusion and create an open and equal service environment for the poor; expand cooperation among poverty alleviation practitioners and establish a multi-agency joint poverty alleviation system; combine with foreign reference and local conditions to improve the content of cultural targeted poverty alleviation.
