摘要: Tau lepton as one of three elementary leptons in nature, the measurement of its mass has ever been performed since its discovery. The present relative accuracy is already at the level of better than 10 to minus 4 and more effects are still made in order to increase the accuracy further. However, the analysis of available techniques for and expectable luminosity from e+e- collider indicates that the precision uplimit of tau mass is almost reached, which means that brand new approaches should be looked for if the great improvement is yearned for.

摘要: Future Higgs factories can reach impressive precision on Higgs property measurements.In this paper, instead of conventional focus of Higgs precision in certain interaction bases, we explored its sensitivity to new physics models at the electron-positron colliders. In particular, we studied two categories of new physics models, Standard Model (SM) with a real scalar singlet extension, and Two Higgs Double Model (2HDM) as examples of weaklyinteracting models, Minimal Composite Higgs Model (MCHM) and three typical patterns of the more general operator counting for strong nteracting models as examples of strong dynamics. We performed a global t to various Higgs search channels to obtain the 95% C.L.constraints on the model parameter space. In the SM with a singlet xtension, we obtained the limits on the singlet-doublet mixing angle sin , as well as the more general Wilson coe cients of the induced higher dimensional operators. In the 2HDM, we analyzed tree level e ects in tan vs. cos(β-α) plane, as well as the one-loop contributions from the heavy Higgs bosons in the alignment limit to obtain the constraints on heavy Higgs masses for di erent types of 2HDM. In strong dynamics models, we obtained lower limits on the strong dynamics scale. In addition, once deviations of Higgs couplings are observed, they can be used to distinguish di erent models. We also compared the sensitivity of various future Higgs factories,namely Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC), Future Circular Collider (FCC)-ee and International Linear Collider (ILC).

摘要: The flux of geoneutrinos at any point on the Earth is a function of the abundance and distribution of radioactive elements within our planet. This flux has been successfully detected by the 1-kt KamLAND and 0.3-kt Borexino detectors with these measurements being limited by their low statistics. The planned 20-kt JUNO detector will provide an exciting opportunity to obtain a high statistics measurement, which will provide data to address several questions of geological importance. This paper presents the JUNO detector design concept, the expected geo-neutrino signal and corresponding backgrounds. The precision level of geo-neutrino measurements at JUNO is obtained with the standard least-squares method. The potential of the Th/U ratio and mantle measurements is also discussed.

摘要: Compared with conventional radar altimeter (CRA), synthetic aperture radar altimeter (SARAL) is a new generation radar altimeter and has better height precision and spatial resolution. As using synthetic aperture technique, SARAL data processing is very different from CRA. To verify the performance and the processing algorithm, an airborne experimental system of SARAL is developed. The experimental system was installed in Y-12 aircraft, and a lot of data was obtained in the October 2014. The echo signal with SAR mode and conventional mode are obtained at the same time, so the standard deviations of the two modes are compared. The results indicate that the height precision of SARAL is improved about 1 times. The significant wave height value extracted from the SARAL waveform is very close to that of the buoy deployed at the experiment area.

摘要: Afull-field transmissionhardX-ray microscope (TXM) with 30nm resolution was designed and its prototype was constructed. The TXM relies on a compact, high stiffness, low heat dissipation and low vibration design philosophy and utilizes Fresnel Zone plate (FZP) as imaging optics. The design of the TXMwas introduced in detail, including the optical layout, the parameters of the FZP, the mechanical design of the TXM instrument. Preliminary imaging result with 52nm spatial resolution was achieved.

摘要: Controlling weeds with reduced reliance on herbicides is one of the main challenges to move toward a more sustainable agriculture. Robotic weeding is a thought to be a viable way to reduce the environmental loading of agrochemicals while keeping the operation efficiency high. One of the key technologies for performing robotic weeding is automatic detection of crops and weeds in fields. This paper presents an overview on various methods for detecting plants based on machine vision, mainly concentrating on two main challenges: dealing with changing light and crop/weed discrimination. To overcome the first challenge, both physical and algorithmic methods have been proposed. Physical methods can result in a more cumbersome machine while algorithmic methods are less robust. For crop/weed discrimination, deep-learning-based methods have shown obvious advantages over traditional methods based on hand-crafted features. However, traditional methods still hold some merits that can be leveraged to deep-learning-based methods. With the fast development of hardware technologies, researchers should take full advantage of advanced hardware to ease the algorithm design. In the future, the identification of crops and weeds can be more accurate and fine-grained with the support of online databases and computing resources based on the advances in artificial intelligence and communication technologies.

摘要: A machine-vision-based method of locating crops is described in this research. This method was used to provide real-time positional information of crop plants for a mechanical intra-row weeding robot. Within the normalized red, green, and blue chromatic coordinates (rgb), a modified excess green feature (g-r>T & g-b>T) was used to segment plant material from back ground in color images. The threshold T was automatically selected by the maximum variance (OTSU) algorithm to cope with variable natural light. Taking into account the geometry of the camera arrangement and the crop row spacing, the target regions covering the crop rows were defined based on a pinhole camera model. According to the statistical variation in the pixel histogram in each target region, locations of the crop plants were initially estimated. To obtain the accurate locations of crops, median filtering was conducted locally in the bounding boxes of the crops close to the bottom of the images. For the lateral guidance of the robot, a novel method of calculating lateral offset was proposed based on a simplified match between a template and the detected crops. Field experiments were conducted under three different illumination conditions. The results showed that the accurate identification rates on lettuce, cauliflower and maize were all above 95%. The positional error as within ±15 mm, and the average processing time for a 640×480 image was 31 ms. The method was adequate to meet the technical requirement of the weeding robot, and laid a foundation for robotic weeding in commercial production system.

摘要: Hydrostatic leveling system (HLS) is widely used in precision engineering survey, especially the alignment of particle accelerator, and the tidal effects on the measurement accuracy of HLS is non-ignorable, thus studies on tidal effects on the HLS is vital. A set of HLS was installed in Jingxian seismostation for verifying the methods to handle the tidal effects on the readings of HLS. Harmonic analysis of the data recorded by HLS and DSQ water tube clinometers in Jingxian seismostation and contrastive analysis of the results are completed. The tilt tide can be well reflected in the data of the both instruments and the results are both reliable. The reasons of the difference between the results are analyzed in this paper. Besides, a validation study based on the measurement data of the HLS used in SPring-8 storage ring for tidal correction on the reading of HLS is completed. The research establishes a foundation for HLS to be applied in micron-level precision alignment of particle accelerator in the future.

摘要: A widely appreciated aspect of developmental robustness is pattern formation in proportion to size. But how such scaling features emerge dynamically remains poorly understood. Here we generate a data set of the expression profiles of six gap genes in Drosophila melanogaster embryos that differ significantly in size. Expression patterns exhibit size-dependent dynamics both spatially and temporally. We uncover a dynamic emergence of under-scaling in the posterior, accompanied by reduced expression levels of gap genes near the middle of large embryos. Simulation results show that a size-dependent Bicoid gradient input can lead to reduced Kruppel expression that can have long-range and dynamic effects on gap gene expression in the posterior. Thus, for emergence of scaled patterns, the entire embryo may be viewed as a single unified dynamic system where maternally derived size-dependent information interpreted locally can be propagated in space and time as governed by the dynamics of a gene regulatory network.

摘要: We consider the natural supersymmetry scenario in the framework of the R-parity conserving minimal supersymmetric standard model (called natural MSSM) and examine the observability of stop pair production at the LHC. We first scan the parameters of this scenario under various experimental constraints, including the SM-like Higgs boson mass, the indirect limits from precision electroweak data and B-decays. Then in the allowed parameter space we study the stop pair production at the LHC followed by the stop decay into a top quark plus a lightest neutralino or into a bottom quark plus a chargino. From detailed Monte Carlo simulations of the signals and backgrounds, we find the two decay modes are complementary to each other in probing the stop pair production, and the LHC with root s = 14 TeV and 100 fb(-1) luminosity is capable of discovering the stop predicted in natural MSSM up to 450 GeV. If no excess events were observed at the LHC, the 95% C.L. exclusion limits of the stop masses can reach around 537 GeV.
