摘要: Two new zinc(II) coordination polymers, [Zn(ph)(H2L)·H2O]2n (1) and [Zn(ip)(H2L)(H2O)]n (2) (H2ph = phthalic acid, H2ip = isophthalic acid, H2L = 3-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole), have been successfully synthesized via hydrothermal reaction. It has been structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal analysis, IR spectra, fluorescence spectroscopy and thermogravimetry analysis. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveal that compounds 1 and 2 both exhibit 1D chain structures, and assemble into 2D and 3D supermolecules through hydrogen bonds or π-π interactions. Moreover, the thermal stability and luminescent properties of compounds 1 and 2 were also studied.

摘要: In this paper, a novel method for selectively detection of dopamine (DA) in the interference of ascorbic acid (AA) is described. A nanometer-sized gold flower microelectrode (NGFME) is prepared by flame-etching and electrochemical deposition. The electrode tip was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The NGFME is sized at about 100 m and dimensions of thorns of the electrode were in nanometers. By modifying with DA aptamer on the surface, the prepared aptasensor can selectively detect DA even in the presence of high concentration AA. Experimental results show that this NGFME has no response to AA. As a comparison, the carbon fiber electrode without DA aptamer modification is unable to effectively detect DA in the presence of AA. The NGFME is easy-to-prepare, selective and sensitive for DA detection down to 25 m. The electrode can be expected to detect DA in vivo and in real biological samples.

摘要: Attitude is one of the crucial parameters for space objects and plays a vital role in collision prediction and debris removal. Analyzing light curves to determine attitude is the most commonly used method. In photometric observations, outliers may exist in the obtained light curves due to various reasons. Therefore, preprocessing is required to remove these outliers to obtain high quality light curves. Through statistical analysis, the reasons leading to outliers can be categorized into two main types: first, the brightness of the object significantly increases due to the passage of a star nearby, referred to as "stellar contamination," and second, the brightness markedly decreases due to cloudy cover, referred to as "cloudy contamination." The traditional approach of manually inspecting images for contamination is time-consuming and labor-intensive. However, we propose the utilization of machine learning methods as a substitute. Convolutional Neural Networks and SVMs are employed to identify cases of stellar contamination and cloudy contamination, achieving F1 scores of 1.00 and 0.98 on a test set, respectively. We also explore other machine learning methods such as ResNet-18 and Light Gradient Boosting Machine, then conduct comparative analyses of the results.

摘要: Here we report a Hipparion fauna locality discovered in between two basalt layers near Hanjiaying Village, Jining District, Wulanchabu City, Nei Mongol. K-Ar isotopic dating of the lower and upper level of the basalt constrains the age of the fauna from 7.2 to 6.8 Ma. Compared with classical Hipparion fauna from northern China, the Hanjiaying fauna is closer to those from Baode of Shanxi, Siziwang Banner of Nei Mongol and the Linxia Basin of Gansu. It is similar to the Loc. 43, 44 and 49 from Baode by faunal composition, confirming their age to be ~7.0 Ma rather than 5.5 Ma. The high similarity with the fossils from Wulanhua, Siziwang Banner, Nei Mongol, verified the age of Wulanhua fauna at about 7 Ma. Compared with faunas from the Linxia Basin, Gansu, it is more similar to those from the upper part of the Liushu Formation, especially the Yangjiashan fauna. Based on the faunal composition and their tooth morphology, the Hanjiaying fauna could be included in the “Gazella dorcadoides” fauna, which is supposed to be at the west paleobiome in northern China during the Late Miocene.

摘要: Based on the design of CLEAR (China LEAd-based Reactor), it is important to study the molten LBE (Lead-Bismuth Eutectic)/water interaction following an incidental steam generator tube rupture (SGTR) accident. Experiments were carried out to investigate the fragmentation behavior of the molten LBE/water contacting interface, with a high-speed video camera to record the fragmentation behavior of 300600 ℃ LBE at 20 ℃ and 80 ℃ of water temperature. Violent explosion phenomenon occurred at water temperature of 20 ℃, while no explosion occurred at 80 ℃. Shapes of the LBE debris became round at 80 ℃ of water temperature, whereas the debris was of the needle-like shape at 20 ℃. For all the molten LBE and water temperatures in the present study, the debris sized at 2.85.0 mm had the largest mass fraction. The results indicate that the dominant physical mechanism of the molten LBE fragmentation was the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability between LBE/water direct contact interface.

摘要: Cosmic-ray muons are suitable for non-destructive imaging of large-scale objects. However, due to the low statistics of cosmic-ray muons and the complicated surroundings of transmission muography experiments, trans#2;mission muography often faces challenges such as noise and incomplete data, posing certain difficulties for 3D image reconstruction. This paper applies the SIRT-TV algorithm to muon tomography, conducting a 3D image reconstruction simulation study based on a QinShiHuang tomb phantom. The results indicate that compared to the conventional SIRT algorithm, the SIRT-TV algorithm can effectively suppress artifacts in the reconstructed image, allowing for a more accurate reconstruction of the underground palace. The geometric similarity of the walls reconstructed by SIRT-TV is nearly tripled compared to that of SIRT. This study also discusses the impact of TV-minimization algorithm parameters, and the measurement configurations and durations on the quality of the reconstructed image, providing a reference point for future experiments.

摘要: DNA origami technique, a breakthrough in DNA nanotechnology, has been widely used to prepare complex DNA nanostructures with nanoscale addressability. However, the purity and yield are generally the bottleneck to application of DNA nanostructures, and current methods for purifying DNA origami nanostructures in large quantities are time-consuming and laborious. This study aims to develop a scalable, cost-effective and contamination-free method of purifying DNA origami nanostructures. We employ an effective and convenient purification approach to purify planar rectangle DNA origami structures through rate-zonal centrifugation. By subjecting DNA origami samples to high centrifugal force in a density gradient media of glycerol, well-folded nanostructures and by-products are separated successfully, which are confirmed by agarose gel electrophoresis and atomic force microscopy (AFM). This method will aid the production of pure rectangle DNA origami nanostructures in large quantity.

摘要: Photo-induced electron transfer (PET) is ubiquitous for photosynthesis and fluorescent sensor design. However, genetically coded PET sensors are underdeveloped, due to the lack of methods to site-specifically install PET probes on proteins. Here we describe a family of acid and Mn(III) turn-on fluorescent protein (FP) sensors, named iLovU, based on PET and the genetic incorporation of superior PET quenchers in the fluorescent flavoprotein iLov. Using the iLovU PET sensors, we monitored the cytoplasmic acidification process, and achieved Mn(III) fluorescence sensing for the first time. The iLovU sensors should be applicable for studying pH changes in living cells, monitoring biogentic Mn(III) in the environment, and screening for efficient manganese peroxidase, which is highly desirable for lignin degradation and biomass conversion. Our work establishes a platform for many more protein PET sensors, facilitates the de novo design of metalloenzymes harboring redox active residues, and expands our ability to probe protein conformational dynamics.

摘要: Pathogenic mycobacteria transport virulence factors across their complex cell wall via a type VII secretion system (T7SS)/early secreted antigenic target-6 of kDa secretion system (ESX). ESX conserved component (Ecc) B, a core component of the T7SS architecture, is predicted to be a membrane bound protein, but little is known about its structure and function. Here, we characterize EccB1, showing that it is an ATPase with no sequence or structural homology to other ATPases located in the cell envelope of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv. We obtained the crystal structure of an EccB1-DN72 truncated transmembrane helix and performed modeling and ATP docking studies, showing that EccB1 likely exists as a hexamer. Sequence alignment and ATPase activity determination of EccB1 homologues indicated the presence of 3 conserved motifs in the N- and C-terminals of EccB1-DN72 that assemble together between 2 membrane proximal domains of the EccB1-DN72 monomer. Models of the EccB1 hexamer show that 2 of the conserved motifs are involved in ATPase activity and form an ATP binding pocket located on the surface of 2 adjacent molecules. Our results suggest that EccB may act as the energy provider in the transport of T7SS virulence factors and may be involved in the formation of a channel across the mycomembrane.

摘要: Fermi-LAT LCR provides continuous and regularly sampled gamma-ray light curves, spanning about 14 yr, for a large sample of blazars. The log-normal flux distribution and linear rms–flux relation of the light curves for a few Fermi blazars have been examined in previous studies. However, the probability that blazars exhibit the log-normal flux distribution and linear rms–flux relation in their gamma-ray light curves has not been systematically explored. In this study, we comprehensively research the distribution of γ-ray flux and the statistical characteristics on a large sample of 1414 variable blazars from the Fermi-LAT LCR catalog, including 572 FSRQs, 477 BL Lacs, and 365 BCUs, and statistically compare their flux distributions with normal and log-normal distributions. The results indicate that the probability of not rejecting log-normal is 42.05% for the large sample, and there is still a 2.05% probability of not rejecting normality, based on the joint of Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Shapiro–Wilk, and Normality tests. We further find that the probability that BL Lacs conform to the log-normal distribution is higher than that of FSRQs. Besides, after removing sources with less than 200 data points from this large sample, a sample of 549 blazars, which is still a large sample compared to the previous studies, was obtained. Based on dividing the light curves into segments every 20 points (or 40 points, or one year), we fitted the linear rms–flux relation of these three different sets and found that the Pearson correlation coefficients are all close to 1 for most blazars. This result indicates a strong linear correlation between the rms and the flux of these 549 blazars. The log-normal distribution and linear rms–flux relation indicate that the variability of the γ-ray flux for most blazars is a non-linear and multiplicative process.

摘要: The Tian-ma Radio Telescope (TMRT) applies an Active Surface System (ASFS), which corrects for large-scale deformations due to gravity and thermal on the primary reflector. The centralized and automated management of the ASFS using software has become a challenge, for which we have developed the TMRT Active Surface System Control Software (TASCS). This paper describes the design and implementation of TASCS for device control, status monitoring, human-computer interaction, and data management functionalities. TASCS adopts the open-source Tango Controls framework and distributes middleware technology to realize real-time automated adjustment of the primary reflector through remote centralized control of a large number of actuators. At present, it has been successfully deployed on the TMRT and has played an important role in Event Horizon Telescope observations.
