Abstract: ChatGPT is a dialogue system developed by OpenAI. Its external appearance is a chat robot. The actual essence is artificial intelligence generation technology. The key foundation is the transformer based on generative pre-training. The core technology is InstructGPT. less toxic content. This paper conducts a systematic research on ChatGPT's technical system, related research and practice, and application conditions. The enlightenment brought by the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and the impact of ChatGPT on scientific research and literature intelligence work are analyzed. Eight recommendations for the field of document intelligence are presented. Generally speaking, the field of literature and intelligence needs to find its own different value orientations in the AI era. It must not only keep upright and inherit the traditional scientific research paradigm, but also expand the use of new technologies such as ChatGPT to assist scientific research.
