Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the modifiability of logic control software systems from both theoretical and practical aspects. From the perspective of the philosophy of technology, this paper proposes that in order to realize the modifiability of the system, the abstract description of the world by computer science should be: “The world is composed of objects and the relationships between objects. ”This paper shows that the modifiability of the logic control system can be realized by the SEA (State Event Analysis) methodology which based on this abstraction. This paper uses the example of an elevator group modeling to illustrate how the SEA methodology can model the complex logic control system by utilizing and maintaining the modifiability of the system. This article helps to explore new paths for modeling complex manufacturing systems.
