Research on the Development and Utilization of Red Cultural Resources in Universities in the New Era: Taking the “Double First-Class” University Libraries in Guangdong Province as Examples postprint

Abstract: Research on the development and utilization of red cultural resources in “Double First-Class” university libraries in Guangdong Province is conducive to better performing the functions of mining red literature resources, spreading red culture, inheriting red gene, and promoting the implementation of the strategy of cultural power. Using the methods of network research and field research, this paper takes the “Double First-Class” university libraries in Guangdong provinces as examples to investigate the development and utilization of red cultural resources in Guangdong province from three aspects: red document resources, red cultural activities and red cultural spacerange. It is found that there are three problems in university libraries: weak development of red literature resources, poor promotion effect of red cultural activities and small influence of red cultural space. Through increasing investment, innovating publicity methods and demonstrating cultural self-confidence, the development and utilization ability of red cultural resources in “Double First- Class” university libraries in Guangdong province can be improved.
