Abstract: This text mainly introduces the design and development of the power user power Internet of Things network based on the "ubiquitous connection" smart meter of the State Grid. The network is a two-way electricity flow trade settlement metering network with advanced interactive functions between the new smart distribution grid and users. The author pointed out in the article that the current State Grid smart meter is only named "smart", and it needs to be upgraded and developed by the "smart" function in order to become the State Grid "ubiquitous connection" smart meter, that is, it has two-way communication and gateway functions, and is used for two-way power flow trade settlement and measurement between the distribution network and users, and the advanced interactive function of transmitting water meter and gas meter measurement data. These advanced interactive functions are consistent with the international technical route for the development of smart meters, and it is recommended that State Grid carry out advanced design and development. In order to meet the needs of the construction of the State Grid's "ubiquitous power Internet of Things", the authors suggest that it is necessary to develop a power user power Internet of Things network based on the State Grid's "ubiquitous connection" smart meters. In view of the fact that residential users account for about 86% of the total number of users (470 million) in the State Grid business area, it is necessary to study the power Internet of Things network of residential users based on the "ubiquitous connection" smart meter of the State Grid in advance. It is composed of the State Grid "ubiquitous connection" smart meter, indoor IoT system, collection terminal, network command center and database: two-way power flow trade settlement and metering network. In addition, the text also mentions the framework design of the power Internet of Things network for residential users, the logic design within the Internet of Things network, and the connection with related systems outside the Internet of Things network. Among them, the network command center can be connected with the data platform, power marketing system, and distribution management system of the provincial power grid IoT management center. Overall, this text provides an important reference and guidance for the design and development of the power Internet of Things network for power users of State Grid's "ubiquitously connected" smart meters.
