Abstract:
[Purpose/significance]In the new media environment, mobile library community service which takes user generated content, interactive sharing relationship,self-organizing activity and participatory service design as characteristics has become the new mode for the library service innovation. This study aims to explore the factors and paths of user engagement in mobile library community service, and then build a theoretical model of mobile library community service.[Method/process]This paper adopts semi-structured interviews and conducts a survey of 10 respondents. After obtaining a large amount of interview materials, the grounded theory is used to analyze and summarize the data.[Result/conclusion]Through open coding, axial coding and selective encoding,4 main categories are summarized and the paths among them are constructed. Finally factors that affect user engagement are described as basic service quality, community service value, user community relationship and participatory service design.And the model of factors and paths among them are constructed.This study clarifies the interaction paths between the various factors, and provides practical guidance for the construction of the community service model and the future service innovation of the mobile library.
