Smart Library: From Cognition to Practice postprint

Abstract: Smart library is an important goal of library development at this stage, but the research at this stage still lacks the knowledge and practice to promote the overall architecture of smart library. On the basis of outlining the evolution of the library from digital library-intelligent library-smart library , this paper deepens the theoretical understanding of the development of libraries, and further explores the concrete implementation path of smart library construction from cognition to practice. It also aims to accelerate the construction of smart library, and to promote the research and practice of smart library with more attention, participation and promotion from the library, academic, and technology enterprise communities, so as to resonate and develop together in the collaborative work of all parties.
