Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Chinese think tanks are an indispensable and important symbol of my country's modern civilization and social progress in the new era, and also an important part of the country's "soft power" and "discourse power" in the new era. To a certain extent, the study of related ceramic industry think tanks can promote the construction and development of the entire industry think tanks. [Method/process] Starting from the basic concept and construction background of ceramic industry think tanks, it analyzes and thinks about the existing problems in the development of ceramic industry think tanks, and takes ceramic industry think tanks as an example to systematically explain how to build an industry-based think tank with Chinese characteristics in the new era. . [Result/conclusion] The experience of building a think tank in the ceramic industry was initially summarized and explored, and in-depth thinking was put forward on the value, significance and contribution to social services of its think tank construction, which provided a scientific guide for the construction and development of China's industry think tanks.
