Abstract: In this paper, the BIM model of the substation is established. Based on the secondary development technology of Revit, the rebar is modeled。Through reading the information of the BIM model，this engineering quantity of the steel bar, concrete, doors, windows and walls is calculated automatically. This program also provides the function to apply the quota based on the family and the family symbol, and get the bill of quantities from the BIM model of substation.
